sheduling & Consultations

Our session is conducted via telephone and can also be done via videoconferencing if requested. You can schedule online to view our availability. If a desired date and time are not available online, please reach out via email and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

A credit card is required to secure your appointment. There is no charge to reschedule or cancel an appointment if it is done greater than 2 days before your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel within 48 hrs of your appointment, you will be charged a $60 fee. Appointments cancelled within 24 hrs of the scheduled appointment will be charged the full fee.

Insurance

FiND Genetics is a direct patient bill service and does not currently participate with with commercial health insurance plans. This allows us to eliminate administrative costs and offer more cost-effective pricing. If requested, we can provide you with an invoice/receipt which you can submit to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement with the genetic counseling CPT code 96040. Each insurance policy varies, so we cannot estimate whether coverage for our services can be reimbursed.

If you elect to submit a receipt of services to your insurance carrier for reimbursement, FiND Genetics may be contacted by your insurer to supply additional information to them for consideration of reimbursement. If this occurs, we will make every effort to contact you so that you are aware of this request prior to us providing any information to your insurance carrier.
